Resolving alerts
Netcool Operations Insight enables you to identify health issues across your application, services, and network infrastructure on a single management console. It provides an event list that brings together event details, event journaling, and event filtering. It also provides the capability to perform troubleshooting, resolution, and run book actions on events directly from the console. Some alerts in the console are presented in alert groups, based on analytics. Using the alert list you can explore why these alerts were grouped together, and this can further help with alert resolution.
Managing incidents
A Netcool Operations Insight incident models a single real-life incident, and can contain multiple alerts.
Managing applications and viewing topologies
Using the Resource management dashboard, you can create and manage applications, and then render them as topology views.
Dashboards
Netcool Operations Insight provides a set of predefined dashboards that show you at a glance what is going on in your environment.
