Accessing the main navigation menu

Open the main navigation menu to access the capabilities available in the Cloud GUI.

About this task

Click the navigation icon Navigation icon to go to the main navigation menu. The following table explains all of the menu icons and lists the capabilities available from each menu.

Incidents icon Incidents   Displays the Incidents page where you can monitor, investigate, and resolve events. Operators Click here
Events icon Events   Display the Events page where you can monitor, investigate, and resolve events. Operators Click here
Topology icon Topology   Launch out to the Advanced GUI in a separate browser tab and open the Topology Viewer. Senior operators Click here
Automations icon Automations Runbooks Build and execute runbooks for your operations team. Administrators Click here
Policies List deployed analytics policies, or, if you have chosen to run analytics in Review first mode, review and deploy analytics policies generated by analytics. Click here
Netcool/Impact Launch out to the Advanced GUI in a separate browser tab and open Netcool/Impact. Access your Impact policies here. Click here
Dashboards icon Dashboards Event reduction Monitor how effectively analytics is reducing the event count for your operations team. Click here
Topology dashboard Monitor the topologies you and your team created using the topology management service. Click here
Adjust settings icon Administration Integrations with other systems Set up incoming event data sources and API keys to bring event data into the system. Click here
Analytics configuration Switch analytics types on and off and decide whether to leave temporal correlation to run in Deploy first mode or to switch to Review first. Click here
Netcool Web GUI icon Netcool Web GUI   Switch back to the classic Event Viewer, as an alternative to the new Events page. Operators Click here
