Enable disaster recovery components in Netcool Operations Insight hybrid

Learn how to enable disaster recovery components in Netcool® Operations Insight® hybrid. You can apply those changes to an existing environment, or you can configure the settings before the installation of Netcool Operations Insight hybrid. This method assumes that you have two deployments, one primary, and the other one a backup.

Following are the steps to enable disaster recovery components in Netcool Operations Insight hybrid for each deployment:
  1. Set the serviceContinuity.continuousAnalyticsCorrelation parameter to true. Setting the parameter to true turns on the components that do disaster recovery for cloud native analytics.
    Note: You also need to create the coordinator service secret. For more information about creating secrets for the coordinator, see Setting up the coordinator service.
  2. Nominate one of the deployments as the backup by using the serviceContinuity.isBackupDeployment parameter.
