Observer job fails due to a crypto issue

Learn how to workaround the issue of an observer job failing with a crypto issue.

Problem

After you upgrade to Netcool® Operations Insight® version 1.6.13 in a hybrid environment, your observer job might fail with the following error.
"Could not decrypt encrypted token : ******** for field [token]. Crypto issue occured."

Resolution

As a workaround, configure passwords again in the observer job administration page.
