Operator scope
The IBM® Netcool® Operations Insight® on Red Hat® OpenShift® operator supports
the Red Hat
OpenShift Container Platform
OwnNamespace, MultiNamespace, and SingleNamespace
installation modes.
Note: A combination of
OwnNamespace and SingleNamespace mode
operators on a single cluster is not supported. Similarly, a combination
of MultiNamespace and SingleNamespace mode operators on a single
cluster is not supported.For more information about Red Hat

OwnNamespace mode
Multiple instances of the operator are allowed per cluster. One operator per namespace is
supported.
Note: You cannot convert from
OwnNamespace mode to
SingleNamespace mode.SingleNamespace mode
A single instance of the operator is allowed per cluster. This mode is
supported in cloud
and hybrid deployments that are installed with the
oc-ibm_pak plug-in and portable
compute or portable storage devices.
