Review the following list of fixed issues, which were reported through IBM Support Cases.
Fixed Support originated issues in Netcool Operations Insight
Fixed issue | Problem Description |
---|---|
HP NFVD observer listener job is stuck with a code InterruptException . |
When you attempt to pause or stop the HP NFVD listen job from the Observer jobs UI, the
observer enters in an infinite loop state with InterruptException . |
Parent event is not removed when severity is cleared in Event Manager | When subgrouping is enabled, Event Manager retains the parent event even when the severity is cleared. The synthetic event (parent) does not have any children. As a result, the parent event is not removed, and many events are held in ObjectServer. |
Mobile page artifacts are not synchronized across nodes | Mobile page artifacts do not get synchronized across High Availability nodes. When you visit the mobile HTML URL from edit mode of page (widget), the URL is only accessible on the node where the mobile artifacts exist. The same artifact (URL) does not exist on the other node. Mobile page artifacts are generated in the OMNIbusWebGUI.war/mobile/ directory. |
The xxx-ibm-ea-asm-mime-eaasmmime-xxx pod keeps restarting |
The xxx-ibm-ea-asm-mime-eaasmmime-xxx pod keeps restarting due to a memory
leak issue. When this issue occurs, probable cause ranking, probable cause explanation UI, and
probable cause API might not function as expected. |
Inconsistent CEACorrelationKey for parent and child in correlated
groups |
The CEACorelationKey column is used to bring all group events together. In
some cases, the CEACorrelationKey in the children events do not match the parent
CEACorelationKey due to subgrouping or other intermittent issues. |
A resource does not exist in the Resource management UI page | When you click a resource name in the Resource management UI page, an error message is displayed, which says that the resource does not exist. If the inventory service loses the message that contains the deleted resource, then this error is expected. |
Topology API calls are failing with 500 internal server error | |
CustomText field value is incorrect in synthetic parent when multiple
properties are enabled for event grouping. |
When you enable multiple properties such as
CEAPropagateTextToCKeyParentCause and
CEAPropagateTextToCKeyParentImpact then, the CustomText field of
the parent is incorrect. The first child record is processed and the CustomText
field value is used from this first child. The other child records are ignored. |
Event Manager grouping is not working | Incorrect handling of error conditions causes the
evtmanager-ibm-hdm-analytics-dev-dedup-aggregationservice-xxx aggregation
de-duplication pod to fail in certain edge cases. When this issue occurs, the grouping does not work
in Event Manager. |
The pevntmngr-ibm-ea-asm-mime-eaasmmime pod keeps restarting. |
The pevntmngr-ibm-ea-asm-mime-eaasmmime pod probe does not work as intended
when the probe completion limit is exceeded in environments with high Cassandra utilization or high
network latency. |
Neighbor relations are not shown in Topology Viewer | The topology algorithms have a limitation when building out a topology using Get
neighbors or Follow relationship functionality. When one resource is
selected and a second resource is added to the view, then any direct relationship between that
resource and a third resource already in the view is not displayed. |
