Empty Probable Cause and Topology columns
The Events page has empty Probable cause and Topology columns.
Problem
After an outage, topology-based features such as topology enrichment, topology group-based
event correlation, and probable cause are no longer shown.
Cause
This issue occurs when the Netcool® Operations Insight® cluster experiences an outage, and an error occurs when the cluster restarts thecnea-mgmt-artifact cron job. The cron job is used to enable topology-based
features such as topology enrichment, topology group-based event correlation, and probable cause. If
it stops running, these features are hidden. Resolution
Delete the cron job definition forcnea-mgmt-artifact. Deleting the cron job definition causes the Netcool Operations Insight operator to
re-create it.
