Connecting to the ObjectServer as a non-root user

Learn how to connect to the ObjectServer as a non-root user. Avoid the topology-noi-gateway and topology-noi-probe pods from crashing with non-root users.

Procedure

  1. Manually configure the IBM® Tivoli® Netcool®/OMNIbus ObjectServers. For more information, see Configuring the probe and gateway for a hybrid system.
  2. Set the following hybrid operator properties. 
    objectServer.collectionLayer.collectionUsername="non-root"
objectServer.collectionLayer.collectionDeployPhase="none"
