Error opening Incident Viewer (hybrid HADR)
If you deploy the Netcool® Hybrid Deployment Option Integration Kit on a high availability disaster recovery (HADR) hybrid deployment but forget to update NetcoolOAuthProvider.xml, and an error is displayed, then it means that the extra instructions for a HADR hybrid deployment have not been successfully completed.
Problem
If you deploy the Netcool Hybrid Deployment Option
Integration Kit on a HADR hybrid deployment but forget to update
NetcoolOAuthProvider.xml, then the following error message is displayed if you
attempt to open the Incident viewer or other cloud native analytics pages in the on-premises DASH
deployment:
{"code":0,"message":"expected 200 OK, got: 401 Unauthorized","level":"fatal"}
Cause
The extra instructions for a HADR hybrid deployment have not been successfully completed.
Resolution
Ensure that all HADR hybrid installation steps are completed, as detailed in the following topics:
- Setting up a high availability disaster recovery hybrid deployment - This topic contains instructions on how to update your NetcoolOAuthProvider.xml file. This step must be completed following each redeployment of the Netcool Hybrid Deployment Option Integration Kit.
- Configuring load balancing for on-premises WebGUI or Dashboard Application Services Hub nodes with Db2
- Setting up persistence for the OAuth service with a Db2 database
