Service failure on the primary site does not trigger auto failover

In a geo-redundancy enabled setup, when services fail on the primary site, the system does not automatically fail over to the backup site.

Problem

In a geo-redundancy enabled setup, if any service, other than the coordinator service, fails on the primary site, then the system does not automatically fail over to the backup site. In such situations, a manual failover from the primary to the backup site is required.

Resolution

As a workaround, you can manually fail over to the backup site. For more information about manual failover and failback, see Manual failover and failback.
