You can start, stop, and investigate individual Network Manager processes from the GUI.
Before you begin
In order to manage processes from the GUI, the ncp_ctrl and ncp_config processes must be running. If these processes are not running, the buttons to start and stop processes are not enabled, and the Core Services window displays an empty table.
About this task
To administer processes from the GUI, complete the following steps.
Procedure

Click the Discovery icon and select .

Select a domain.

Click the Core Service Status tab.
The Core Service Status window displays a table showing all the services that are configured in the CtrlServices.cfg configuration file.

Check the status of each process in the Status column. Check the overall status at the bottom of the table.
The table also displays the ID of each process.

To start a process that is not running, select its row and click the Start button
.

To stop a running process, select its row and click the Stop button
.

To refresh the table, click the Refresh button
.

Click Save to save the changes to the domain-specific CtrlServices.DOMAIN.cfg file.
