Before you uninstall Network Manager, you must remove the
Network Manager reports and the
data sources for the reports. You can also uninstall Cognos Analytics at the same
time.
About this task
Restriction: If you remove Cognos Analytics, the Network Manager reports do not work. If
you want to use the Network Manager reports, do not uninstall
Cognos Analytics.
To remove Network Manager
reports and their data source settings, complete the following tasks:
Procedure
- Log in to the Network Manager GUI
in a supported browser as a user with administrator permissions.
- Click Common reporting in the navigation
pane on the left side of the window.
- Select the check box next to Network Manager.
- Click the delete icon to remove the Network Manager reports.

Click the Launch menu in the upper right of the window. Click
Cognos Administration from the list and click the
Configuration tab.
- Select the check boxes next to the following data sources:
- IBM_TRAM
- NCIM
- NCMONITOR
- NCPGUI
- NCPOLLDATA
- PARAMETERS
- Click the delete icon to remove the selected data sources.

Start IBM Installation Manager:

Change to the directory where IBM Installation Manager is installed.

Run the following command:
IBM Installation Manager starts in
wizard mode. To use command line, silent, console, or web browser mode, refer to the information on
Managing installations with Installation Manager in the
IBM Installation Manager documentation at:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSDV2W/im_family_welcome.html. Not all products and components support
all installation modes.

Click Uninstall.

Select Network Manager Reports and Cognos Analytics and click
Next.

Review the summary information and click Uninstall.
Results
The selected packages are uninstalled.
