Uninstalling Network Manager

If you want to completely remove the product, or to roll back to a previous version, you must use IBM Installation Manager. Uninstalling the product by removing files and directories causes problems when you reinstall components.

About this task

You must uninstall the products and components in the order that is specified here. The IBM Installation Manager does not remove files that were created by running the products or configuration commands, that includes logs, updated configuration files, persisted data or cache.

If you uninstall components in a different order, you might not be able to remove some components.
