Verifying geographical discoveries

After you run a geographical discovery, verify that it ran successfully.

About this task

To check that the geographical discovery ran successfully, complete the following steps:

Check the logs for the ncp_disco process in the $NCHOME/log/precision directory to find out if the geographical stitchers that you configured are working.
Query the location tables in the NCIM topology database to find out if they are populated with geographic data.
For example, use the following command:
```
select * from NCIM.geographicLocation
```
Log into Dashboard Application Services Hub. Open the following URL:
```
https://server:port/ibm/console/nm_rest/topology/devices/geo/all
```
If geographical discovery completed successfully, JSON results for the geographically enriched devices are displayed.
Open a geographic view and check that the expected devices appear.
