Architecture
IBM Netezza Performance Server – Software is deployed on the Red Hat OpenShift platform, utilizing Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) for persistent storage.
Overview
The architecture is decoupled into separate compute and storage layers, allowing independent
scaling based on workload performance requirements. Users can scale compute and storage resources
individually to optimize performance.
Upon successful deployment, users will receive the following endpoints:
- Netezza Host Endpoint: For connecting to the Netezza Performance Server.
- Web Console Endpoint: For submitting queries, monitoring system performance, and performing administrative tasks.
Authentication Options
- LDAP Integration: Supports enterprise-grade authentication via Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
- Local Authentication: Also supports local user authentication mechanisms for flexible access control.
