Software availability

You can obtain the IBM® SQL Extensions toolkit installation files and documentation from IBM Passport Advantage® or IBM Fix Central. You must have an account and the appropriate support permissions to download the software from these locations.

To find the package on Fix Central:
  1. Go to https://www-945.ibm.com/support/fixcentral.
  2. In the Product selector field, type IBM Cloud Pak for Data System.
  3. In the Installed Version field, select SQLEXT_11.0 or SQLEXT_11.2 based on the version that you want to install.
  4. Click Continue. Browse for the version that you want to install and click Continue.

For Netezza Performance Server systems , the electronic download package is named ips-sql-ext-version.tar.gz, where version indicates the release number of the software, such as v11.0.0.0.

The software contains a readme file, the required object files for the functions, and the scripts for defining and using the functions in a Netezza Performance Server database and disabling and removing the functions.
