Removing the IBM SQL Extensions toolkit

If you no longer want users to register IBM® SQL Extensions toolkit functions on the Netezza Platform Software system or if you have old versions of the toolkit, you can remove the software files from the system.

Procedure

  1. Disable SQL Extensions support in each database where it is enabled by following the procedure in Disabling IBM SQL Extensions toolkit functions.
  2. Remove all the files in the libnetcrypto/version directory and the libnetxml/version directory.
