Netezza Performance Server for Cloud Pak for Data

Version 11.2.3.3 provides stability fixes for critical issues, introduces support for Red Hat OpenShift 4.14.29, Cloud Pak for Data 4.8.6.

Note:
  1. If you are using custom SSL certificates, learn how to preserve them across Netezza Performance Server upgrade. For more information, see Preserving custom SSL certificates.
  2. Using the nz-cloud automation, you will be able to perform upgrade of infrastructure components, Cloud Pak for Data, and Netezza Performance Server. At the end of automated upgrade the Netezza Performance Server instance is brought online.
  3. nz-cloud does not support Red Hat Open Shift upgrade. To upgrade OpenShift cluster in a disconnected environment see Updating a cluster.
  4. If you are using disconnected / air-gapped environment, then you need to replicate all the required images to a private registry before you can initiate an upgrade using that private registry.

New features and enhancements

New look for the user interface
The console has a fresh design that matches the Netezza SaaS user interface for consistent look and feel.
Enhanced nzcli user experience
The nzcli user experience has been improved. For more information, see Remote command-line nz .
Enhanced create user syntax
A syntax change has been introduced for the create user statement.
Note: Users should be managed via Cloud Pak for Data console. However, if a user needs to be created on the Netezza Performance Server directly then a user should be created using an updated syntax that specify external authentication mechanism for the user.
