Netezza Performance Server 11.1.2.0 release notes

Deployment options: Netezza Performance Server for Cloud Pak for Data

Version 11.1.2.0 contains new features and fixes that are specific to Netezza Performance Server for Cloud Pak for Data.

New features

nz-cloud command
  • Added a --token parameter, which you can use to log in to the cluster.
  • Changed the name of the nps function to nps-addon.
  • Added --upgrade | -u, which updates components. The --update argument accepts a comma-separated list of properties. The option must be used with the properties file (-p | -properties) argument to connect to the cluster.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Introduced the ability to specify a cost-optimized configuration on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

TLS v1.2 support
Introduced TLS v1.2 support through the postgres.conf configuration variable enable_tls_v12 (by default, set to ON).

Fixes

  • Fixed ERROR: DHJ: not enough memory for joining.
  • Fixed the issue, which prevented the postgres core from a cache refresh while a cross database operation was underway.
  • Fixed the issue with the search path / set path functionality not working after the schema was set in the transaction block.
