Version 11.0.3.0. introduces enhancements such as JSON datatype support, and provides fixes to various known issues.

Enhancements and improvements

JSON datatype support
Added JSON datatype support for versions 11.0.3.0 onwards.
Auto update of LDAP config files
As compared to 11.0.2.0, it is no longer needed to manually update LDAP config files (except for sssd.conf) for default settings.
Regenerate only the required data partitions
Enabled nzspupart command to regen only specified data partitions
Framework for retaining custom OS configuration (like cronjob, fstab) during container upgrade
The configuration file added in /nz/containerupgrade/files_to_backup.conf will be preserved across upgrades.

  • IBM Performance Server for PostgreSQL version 11.0.3.0 provides stability fixes related to container deployment, SQL engine, backup and restore.
  • Fixed the issue where user without password was causing a crash.
  • Fixed bulk update error during ACL operations.

  • Increased the timeout value of nzstart command to 900 seconds to accommodate support for systems bigger than Base +2.
  • Allow the Netezza Performance Server host container to perform customer DNS requests.
