Perform a restore
Deployment options: Netezza Performance Server for Cloud Pak for Data System
Run the bprestore NetBackup utility to restore the host backup file. The
following is an example.
bprestore -p nzhostbackup -w -L /nz/tmp/hostrestore.log
/nz/tmp/hostbackup.20070521
Keep in mind the following important points for the bprestore utility and the example:
- Specify the explicit path to the bprestore command if it is not part of your account PATH setting. The default location for the utility is /usr/openv/netbackup/bin.
- You can display syntax for the bprestore utility by running bprestore without options.
Note: An alternative to the bprestore command is the bp
interactive NetBackup client utility. The utility steps you through a backup or a restore.
