Differential backup

After you run a full backup on a database, you can run an incremental backup to capture any changes made since the last backup. To run an incremental differential backup on the host, you use the nzbackup command and specify the -differential option.

The following is the syntax for a differential backup:

nzbackup -db <db_name> -dir <dirname> -differential

The following is the syntax for a differential backup that is written to the NetBackup application:

nzbackup -db <db_name> -differential -connector netbackup
