Tivoli Storage Manager encrypted backup support

If your Tivoli environment uses encryption, you can configure the Netezza Platform Software backups to use encrypted backups.

To configure encrypted backups, you must specify some settings to the TSM configuration files in the backup archive and API clients. For each TSM server in your environment, you can specify that the Tivoli backup connector use encrypted backups to store the files sent by the Netezza Performance Server backup utilities.
