Tivoli Storage Manager backup integration

If you have an IBM® Spectrum Protect (formerly Tivoli® Storage Manager) solution in your environment, you can integrate Netezza Performance Server data backup and restore operations with that solution. By defining the Netezza Performance Server host as a client of the Tivoli Storage Manager server, you can use the standard backup solutions to create backups on media devices that are managed by the Tivoli Storage Manager server. Similarly, you can use Netezza Performance Server restore utilities to retrieve and load data from the backup locations. The Netezza Performance Server solution has been tested with IBM Spectrum Protect versions 5.4, 5.5, 6.1, 6.2, 7.1, 8.1 and 8.1.10.
