Configuring NetBackup for a Netezza Performance Server client

About this task
To back up and restore from NetBackup, you must configure the NetBackup environment. Complete the following steps.
Procedure
- Make the Netezza Performance Server host network-accessible to the NetBackup Main Server.
- Confirm that at least one NetBackup Media Server and storage device is connected to NetBackup, is operational, and is available to NetBackup policies.
- Install the NetBackup Client for Linux® on the Netezza Performance Server host.
- Create a NetBackup policy for Netezza Performance Server backup.
