Netezza Performance Server Analytics 11.2.29 release notes
This release includes several bug fixes, security updates, and new features to improve the overall performance and stability of the product.
Netezza Performance Server Analytics 11.2.29 is supported on the
following versions of Netezza Performance Server:
- 11.2.1.X (all versions)
- 11.2.2.9 or earlier
Fixed Issues
- Fixed an issue where
NZSpatialverification was failing. - Resolved an issue caused by a common name conflict between a column and alias in some INZA stored procedures.
- Fixed an issue where some databases were not being updated during installation.
- Resolved an issue with the INZA AE log collector not working as expected.
- Fixed an issue where the
\Rcharacter was being randomly returned by correlation and mutual information functions. - The installation script has been refactored to mitigate dependency issues.
- Ensured that the Python adapter and
NZPYIDAdatabase are properly handled during uninstallation.
Security Updates
- Upgraded Expat to version 2.6.2 to address CVE-2024-45490.
- Removed Libgsl to address CVE-2020-35357.
- Removed maven-compat to address CVE-2021-26291.
- Removed icuicu4c-57_1-docs to address CVE-2011-4599.
- Applied fixes for Lua adapter to address CVE-2020-13151, CVE-2019-19391, CVE-2020-24372, and CVE-2020-15890.
- Applied fixes for Python adapter to address CVE-2018-7750, CVE-2018-20225, CVE-2013-7459, and CVE-2024-6345.
New Features
- The INZA Package Installer now installs in silent mode by default.
- Automated backup and restore of dependent UDX between INZA installations.
- Changed compression tool to reduce INZA package size.
- Introduced a new argument for
nzcmto list uninstalled cartridges (nzcm --uninstalled).

- Upgraded
ESRI ArcSDEto version 10.9.1 (replacing version 10.2). - Upgraded
binutilsto version 2.41.
