Netezza Performance Server Analytics databases

Depending on the cartridges that you install, one or more new databases are created.

These new databases are:
  • INZA
  • NZA
  • NZM
  • NZR
  • NZRC
  • NZMSG

These databases contain the Netezza Performance Server Analytics procedures and functions, and sample data. The data in these databases is contained in the INZA schema. The INZAUSER user is the owner of all these databases and their objects.

The following restrictions apply to these databases:
  • These databases are deleted when Netezza Performance Server Analytics is upgraded.
  • Do not grant login access to these databases to standard users.
  • Do not create additional schemas or any other database objects in these databases.
  • You cannot enable these databases for use with Netezza Performance Server Analytics.
  • Do not change the default schema of any of these databases. If you change any default schema, Netezza Performance Server Analytics becomes unusable.
