Elements

The probe breaks event data down into tokens and parses them into elements. Elements are used to assign values to ObjectServer fields; the field values contain the event details in a form that the ObjectServer understands.

The following table describes the elements that the probe generates. Not all the elements described are generated for each event; the elements that the probe generates depend on the event type.

`$AckTimeStamp`	Timestamp when the alarm was acknowledged.
`$AgentPort`	Agent port.
`$AlarmId`	Unique alarm ID.
`$AlarmLongKey`	Alphanumeric key for long message.
`$AlarmSeverity`	Alarm severity.
`$AlarmState`	Alarm state.
`$AlarmText`	Alarm text.
`$Attribute`	Attribute.
`$CloTimeStamp`	Clock time stamp.
`$FixOperator`	Username of the operator who fixed the alarm.
`$FixTimeStamp`	Timestamp when the alarm was fixed.
`$LDT`	Internal Sun MC code.
`$MachineType`	Machine type.
`$ManagedObject`	Managed object affected.
`$messageType`	Type of message generated.
`$Module`	Module affected.
`$ModuleInstance`	Specific instance of the module.
`$OpenTimeStamp`	Time at which the alarm occurred or was opened.
`$Property`	Property on which the alarm was generated.
`$PropertyInstance`	Identifier of the instance of the property.
`$PropertyType`	Property type. This is either True or False.
`$RuleGroup`	Rule group.
`$RuleId`	Rule ID. This appears if the alarm was generated through a rule.
`$TargetHost`	Host name.
`$UpdReason`	Reason for update.
`$UpdTimeStamp`	Timestamp when the alarm was updated.
