Preserving files when a fix pack is applied
Customized files must be placed in user defined directories
for preservation. It is recommended to keep a backup of any customized
or modified system files. When a new fix pack is applied, the OMNIbusWebGUI.war
directory
might include updated system files for new features or defect fixes.
As a result, any customization might be lost. Backup files can be
used to restore customized or modified system files.
- Customized files will only be preserved during an upgrade if it is a new file or directory created under JazzSM_WAS_Profile/installedApps/JazzSMNode01Cell/isc.ear/OMNIbusWebGUI.war.
- If the customized file is replacing the default file, with the same default file name, the file will be updated.
- If the customized file is under the default system directory the file will be updated.
