Changing menus

In event lists, users access default and custom tools through menus. You can add tool entries to the menus, create new submenus, and modify or delete menu items. A tool can include a prompt window or pop-up menu for the user to enter information, and you can edit these prompts or create new prompts. Two menus are supplied with the product to which you can add new tools and submenus.

The two supplied menus are the Alerts menu and the Tools menu. As supplied, the Alerts menu contains SQL tools that are supplied with the product. The Tools menu contains supplied CGI and command-line tools. In Active Event Lists (AELs), both supplied menus can be opened from the toolbar. The Alerts menu can also be opened from the right-click menu when you select an event.
