Initial configuration wizard

The wizard presents a series of panes in which you can create the common components of a Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus installation for one or more computers. When your configuration is complete, it is saved to a deployment descriptor file. You can apply the deployment descriptor file on any computer where the wizard is installed.

You can configure an entire distributed deployment in one session and assign each component to a specific computer. When you apply the deployment descriptor on each computer, only those components that are defined for that computer will be installed there.

To start the wizard GUI, use the following command: $NCHOME/omnibus/bin/nco_icw

To start the wizard console, use the following command: $NCHOME/omnibus/bin/nco_icw -console
