Creating maps using the HTML Map Editor

Use the HTML Map Editor to create and edit maps.

Before you begin

A Firefox browser might become unresponsive after opening the HTML Map Editor. This is caused by the Java security settings. Complete the following steps to resolve this issue:
  1. Launch the Java Control Panel.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Set the Security Level slider to Medium.
Note: If the slider is disabled, select the Advanced tab and ensure that the Enable the next generation plugin (requires browser restart) option is selected and apply the change.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Restart the browser.
