Viewing services in the event list
If you have IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for Internet Service Monitoring installed, you can view and manipulate service alerts from Internet service monitors.
About this task
Procedure
- From the Conductor, open the event list. When Composite Application Manager for Internet Service Monitoring is installed, the Services window opens automatically whenever you access the monitor box window from the Conductor.
- From the Event List monitor box window, click .
- From the event list, click Show Services Window in the toolbar.
Results
The Services window opens.
Each row in the Services window
indicates a different service with the following information:
- Colored symbols
- The colored symbols to the left of each row indicate the status of the
last alert that the ObjectServer received from that service. The symbols are
color-coded, as follows:
- Red: The service level agreement is not being met.
- Amber: There are some problems with the service.
- Green: There are no problems with the service.
- Black: The status of the service is unknown.
- Service
- This column shows the name of the service that is being monitored.
- Last Change
- This column shows the last date and time when the service status changed.
- Last Good
- This column shows the last date and time when the service was good.
- Last Bad
- This column shows the last date and time when the service was bad.
- Last Marginal
- This column shows the last date and time when the service was marginal.
- Last Reported
- This column shows the last date and time when a report was generated for the service.
Double-click any row to open an event list window that contains a list of alerts for that service type. You can manipulate the service alerts in the event list in the same way as alerts that are received from probes.
Click Close to close the Services window.
