Working with widgets

Widgets are web applications that display information or provide a service in a console dashboard. You can only work with widgets that have been deployed to the console. Use Widgets to create, edit, and delete a widget from a dashboard.

To access Widgets in the console, click Console Settings > Widgets in the navigation pane. The main panel displays a list of all of the widgets in the console.

In relation to the widget palette that is displayed when creating dashboards, widgets can be associated with one or more widget catalogs. Widgets that are not organized into catalogs, are said to be uncategorized, but depending on your authorization, may still be listed in the widget palette.
