You can use the personal library in conjunction with the
directory browser utility to build up your library of frequently-used
files.
About this task
To add files to your personal library:
Procedure
- Open the directory browser to view the contents of your
local UNIX system directories.
- Drag and drop icons representing your required files from
the directory browser into the personal library in either of the following
ways:
- Use the middle mouse button to move files. (This is equivalent
to using the mv command.)
- Use the Ctrl key and middle mouse button simultaneously to
copy files. (This is equivalent to using the cp command.)
Note: You can drag and drop all icons except those
representing directories.
What to do next
Tip: You can also copy files from the personal
library into the directory browser. Note that you can move or copy
all files except the prefs icon.
