Adding files to the personal library

You can use the personal library in conjunction with the directory browser utility to build up your library of frequently-used files.

To add files to your personal library:

Procedure

  1. Open the directory browser to view the contents of your local UNIX system directories.
  2. Drag and drop icons representing your required files from the directory browser into the personal library in either of the following ways:
    • Use the middle mouse button to move files. (This is equivalent to using the mv command.)
    • Use the Ctrl key and middle mouse button simultaneously to copy files. (This is equivalent to using the cp command.)
    Note: You can drag and drop all icons except those representing directories.

What to do next

Tip: You can also copy files from the personal library into the directory browser. Note that you can move or copy all files except the prefs icon.
