You can only start services that have a Stopped status.
About this task
To start a service:
Procedure
- Perform any of the following actions from Netcool/OMNIbus
Administrator:
- If you are connected to the process agent and the
Service/Process Details pane is open, go to the next step.
- If not already connected, connect to the process agent. On
successful connection, the Service/Process Details pane opens.
- If you are connected to the process agent, but the
Service/Process Details pane is not currently on display, click the
Status icon in the Configuration window for the process agent, to view this
pane.
- Select the service that you want to start and then click Start in
the toolbar.
Results
The service and its associated processes are started and the Service/Process
Details pane is updated.
