Posting a NSM service template

When the NSM service designer is finished designing the NSM service template, it must be posted.

Procedure

  1. As the NSM service designer, copy the XML file that contains the NSM service template to the NSM server.
  2. Change directory to the location of the NSM Command Line Tool. For example: 
    cd /opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/ncm/bin/nsm
  3. Run the NSM Command Line Tool with the create option, for example: 
    ./nsmadmin.sh command=create filename=<filename>
    Substitute the options for the correct values.
