Policy event fields

Use this information to understand the fields in policy events.

The following Netcool Configuration Manager-specific fields are presented within policy events.

Column name	Description
Node	Name of the device. This value corresponds to the device name provided in the device seed file from Network Manager.
Agent	Contains the text `Policy trap`, identifying this event as a IBM Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager policy event.
AlertGroup	Contains the text `Policy trap`, identifying this event as a IBM Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager policy event.
AlertKey	Contains a combination of the following data: Name of the device. This value corresponds to the device name provided in the device seed file from Network Manager. Unique ID for the device. This value corresponds to the entity ID for the device provided when Netcool Configuration Manager was seeded with devices from Network Manager. This value corresponds to the entity ID of the device in the Network Manager NCIM topology database. Name of the policy applied. Key of the policy applied.
LocalNodeAlias	Unique ID for the device. This value corresponds to the entity ID for the device provided when Netcool Configuration Manager was seeded with devices from Network Manager. This value corresponds to the entity ID of the device in the Network Manager NCIM topology database.
NmosEntityId	Unique ID for the device. This value corresponds to the entity ID for the device provided when Netcool Configuration Manager was seeded with devices from Network Manager. This value corresponds to the entity ID of the device in the Network Manager NCIM topology database.
Summary	The textual summary of the cause of the alert.
Identifier	Contains a combination of data in the event and enables deduplication of events based on policy instance, version, and device.
