What's new

Review the new and updated drivers in this release. The Drivers 25 release contains a number of new enhancements (RFEs). Update the device driver to determine if any current issues are resolved by installing the latest driver.

Changes from Drivers 24 to Drivers 25

Drivers 25 contains the following two packages:

  • Filename: ITNCM_Drivers25_Installers.zip. Part number: M0FXQEN
  • Filename: ITNCM_Autodiscovery-6.9.0.zip. Part number: M0FXREN

The ITNCM_Drivers25_Installers.zip package contains all the individual drivers, which are segregated by vendor, type, model, and operating system. Inside this package are various vendor folders, each of which contains sub-folders for all supported types. Each type folder contains sub-folders for model, and each model folder contains drivers for all supported operating systems for that model.

The ITNCM_Autodiscovery-6.9.0.zip package contains the latest version of autodiscovery.

Restriction:

Drivers 25 no longer supports SSH1 protocol.

Restriction:

Drivers 22 and above requires Netcool Configuration Manager FP16 or above, to maintain Log4j version compatibility between Netcool Configuration Manager Core and Drivers.

You can not combine any drivers from an older version with drivers from Drivers 23 due to a Log4j version conflict. All drivers need to be upgraded to Drivers 23.

Yang model-based drivers
Drivers 25 contains some drivers that are based upon Yang models. These drivers cannot be installed with their non-Yang counterparts because the model and OS supported lists overlap. These drivers include the Juniper SRX v18.0, Juniper MX v17.0, and Juniper MX v18.0.
