Configuring the discovery scope

To enable discovery of storage components, you must provision EMC ViPR SRM IP address in the discovery scope.

EMC ViPR SRM Sensor will get invoked from the Port Scan Sensor, if matching port is found. In PortScanSensor configuration, “emcsrmPorts” is configured with default ports for EMC ViPR SRM, for example, port number 58443 and 58080.

If non-default port is being used for EMC ViPR SRM, then “emcsrmPorts” needs to be updated.
