Configuring the collation.properties file entries

This topic lists the collation.properties file entries that the VirtualCenter server sensor uses.

The sensor uses the following entries in the collation.properties file:

com.collation.platform.os.UnixOs.forcedServerList=vpxd

You must add the vpxd server process in the property to ensure that the VirtualCenter server sensor starts. For example,

com.collation.platform.os.UnixOs.forcedServerList=vxconfigd;clstrmgr;vpxd

Note: Agile Service Manager applies Custom Server matching templates only to server processes. These processes are listening either on TCP port or on Windows Services. You can force a programme name using com.collation.platform.os.UnixOs.forcedServerList=vpxd property in the collation.properties. If the vpxd process is not listening on TCP port, you must add this property.
