Check Point sensor

The Check Point sensor discovers Check Point FireWall-1 running on non-Windows platforms, such as Solaris or Check Point IPSO.

Prerequisites

You must have the following access:
  • SSH access that can run lsof
  • Read permission to the $CPMDIR/conf/objects.C directory on the system where the Check Point FireWall-1 is running
  • Execute permission for the $CPMDIR/bin/fw command
  • Read permission to the $CPMDIR/conf/*.W files, which contain the editable versions of the rule sets

The CPMDIR environment variable must be set for the Agile Service Manager user.
