Troubleshooting the sensor

This topic describes common problems that occur with the XIV Storage sensor and presents solutions for those problems.

Running XCLI commands takes a long time

Problem

Note: The following problem does not apply to XIV Storage System version 4.5 and later.

XCLI is required for XIVStorageSensor to successfully discover XIV. When both Agile Service Manager server and XCLI are installed on the Windows operating system, running each XCLI commands might last more than 2 minutes.

Solution

To solve the problem, go to the XIVGUI\properties directory, open the xiv-constants.properties file, and change the value of the following property from the default one to 0:
