- Description
- This message occurs when an uncorrectable multi-bit ECC memory error is reported to the Write Anywhere File Layout (WAFL) file system external cache. When this event occurs the data will be re-read from persistent storage (RAID) and operation continues. See related EMS messages for details about the failing unit.
- Corrective action
- If multiple uncorrectable multi-bit ECC errors are issued, this indicates that a hardware component might be failing and should be considered for replacement.
