Adding zones to zone groups

Use this procedure to add zones to a zone group.

1. Choose Data > Price Zones.
2. Right-click on the desired zone group name and select Zones.
   The Zones page opens.
3. Click the New Zone button to display the New Zone dialog box.
4. Enter a Zone name and Description in the dialog box.
5. If you will define a Cross Zone rule for setting prices relative to zones within a zone group, choose the zone level (1-5) for the rule definition from the Zone Level drop-down list.
   For example, in the rule definition, "The price of each product in Zone A must be priced between X% and Y% of Zone B", Zone A is considered the dependent zone and Zone B is the base zone. After you select the dependent zone in the rule definition, the only zones available to select as the base zone are the lower levels. A zone which will always be a base should be assigned level 1. The default for all zones is level 1.

   Note: You can also assign a zone level to existing zones in the Zones page.
6. Click Save when you are done.
   The new zone name will appear in the Zones page.
7. Click the Location Zone button to open the Location Zone page.
   All stores in the zone group are listed.
8. Click the zone next to the appropriate store to display a drop-down list.
9. Select the new zone to assign it to the store.
10. When all desired stores are selected, click Save.
