New features in Markdown Optimization
Markdown Optimization 20.1 introduces the following new features.
Markdown Workspace improvements
The Markdown Workspace page is updated to include the following new features:
- New Division filter: You can now filter the workspace by division. You can select the division you want to view from the provided drop-down menu to filter the data that is displayed on the page by the selected division.
- New Product Hierarchy Settings: You can further customize the Workspace page by using the product hierarchy to filter the data that is displayed on the page. To apply the product hierarchy to the page, select Settings on the Workspace page. Select Product Hierarchy; then, make your product hierarchy selections and select Save. Once your settings are saved, the hierarchy are applied to your Workspace page.
- Selecting the Liability Items panel on the Workspace page now opens the Liability Report in Ad Hoc Analytics.
New Allowable last digits by bracket price range
When you create a markdown plan, you can create up to 3 price brackets where each price bracket has its own defined allowable last digits. For example, if you define two brackets where:
Example bracket | Price range | Allowable last digits |
---|---|---|
Example A | $0 to $50 | .00 and .50 |
Example B | $51-$100 | .99 |
If the recommended markdown price for an item is priced at $51, the last two digits for the price will be .99. If the item is marked down again to $50 or less, then the last two digits for the new marked down price can be .00 or .50.
New feature provides the ability to remove line groups from the Create Scenarios page
You can now remove a line group from the Create Scenarios page. To remove a line group, navigate to the Exceptions section and select Remove Line Groups. You can select line groups a list or paste the line groups that you want to remove into the Product Line Groups text box. Select OK to remove the line groups from the scenario.
