Finding a location on a map

You can search for address information to find a location on a map and update the information for a work order record.

About this task

Use the Find Location map tool to find an address in the current map extent and display its details as a label on the map.

Procedure

  1. Open a map-enabled application.
    For example, Work Orders Tracking.
  2. Select a work order record and then click the Map tab.
  3. Open the Find Location tool, enter address information, and then click Find.
    A list of addresses that match your address query is displayed.
  4. Select an address from the list.
    The map will center on the address selected.
