Date, time, and locale configuration commands
You can use these commands to configure the time, date, and locale on the IBM® MQ Appliance.
Included are commands for configuring the appliance to work with an NTP server. To work with
date, time, and locale configuration:
- From the appliance command line, enter global configuration
mode:
config
- From global configuration mode, enter one of the following configuration modes, depending on the
feature that you want to configure:
- For configuring the appliance to work with an NTP server, enter
ntp-service
. - For configuring the timezone for the appliance, enter
timezone
.

- When you have finished, save your configuration:
write memory
- Type
exit
to leave the configuration mode, then typeexit
again to leave global configuration mode.
