
IBM MQ Console: Removing a queue manager from a high availability configuration
You can remove a queue manager from a high availability configuration by using the IBM® MQ Console.
About this task
You can only remove the queue manager from a high availability group on the appliance on which it is currently running. The queue manager becomes a standalone queue manager on that appliance, but is removed from the other appliance.
Procedure
- Open the IBM MQ Console on the appliance on which the queue manager is currently running.
- Go to the manage view and click the High availability tab.

Locate the queue manager in the list and select Configure HA from the
menu
.

Click the Edit button
.
- Turn the High availability option to Off, and click Save to remove the queue manager from the high availability group.
