IBM MQ Console: Removing a queue manager from a high availability configuration

You can remove a queue manager from a high availability configuration by using the IBM® MQ Console.

About this task

You can only remove the queue manager from a high availability group on the appliance on which it is currently running. The queue manager becomes a standalone queue manager on that appliance, but is removed from the other appliance.

Procedure

  1. Open the IBM MQ Console on the appliance on which the queue manager is currently running.
  2. Go to the manage view and click the High availability tab.
  3. Locate the queue manager in the list and select Configure HA from the menu Shows the menu icon.
  4. Click the Edit button shows the edit icon.
  5. Turn the High availability option to Off, and click Save to remove the queue manager from the high availability group.
