use-smtp

This command indicates whether to use SMTP to send the error report as an email message.

Syntax

use-smtp { on | off }

Parameters

on: Sends the error report to a specified email address.
off: Does not send the error report. This setting is the default value.

Guidelines

You can use the use-smtp on command together with upload-report on command to enable the inclusion of first failure data capture (FFDC) information in the report.

Otherwise you can use use-smtp on to send a report without FFDC information when the appliance starts up or shuts down.
